Family Care Indonesia offers practical assistance, encouragement, counseling, motivational and inspirational programs to a wide variety of needy institutions including orphanages, handicapped centers, medical and educational centers, to name a few. Our personal involvement and visitation programs help to supplement the dedicated efforts of the professionals, staff and caregivers who work tirelessly in the care and aid of those in need. Through the concerned and generous help of like-minded individuals and businesses, Family Care Indonesia has helped to make physical improvements and provided needed items such as food, clothing, etc.. The friendship, kindness, comfort and direction given through our personal interaction and fun filled inspirational programs is done with the aim of leaving each recipient with faith and hope for a brighter future.
Visiting Children With Cancer and Fun With Former Street Children in Jakarta

Helping Children in North Jakarta
Family Care Indonesia volunteer Esther visits Cilincing, North Jakarta monthly to deliver milk to the Catholic Nuns of the Putri Kasih Foundation to be used in their community based clinic to improve child survival and development.
Orphanage Visit in Jakarta
This month Mary joined with the American Woman’s Club to again visit the Lestari Sayang Anak orphanage. Fun musical interaction and creative arts and crafts were the main feature. Mary also passed on sponsored food items donated by local sponsors.
Orphanage Visit in Tangerang
Family Care Indonesia volunteers visit the Pintu Elok orphanage in Pamulang, Tangerang. We sang together played games and took time to interact with the children and staff. Thanks to sponsors we distributed donated cleaning supplies, rice, used clothing and snacks to the orphanage.
Team to Pontianak West Kalimantan
This month on our visit to Pontianak, West Kalimantan we delivered 5 sets of the STEPS Character Building Curriculum to 5 different orphanages as well as sending books and clothing to villages in the interior of West Kalimantan.
School Supplies to Alor Island School
This is a group of students on Alor Island who have received School supplies from our workers over the last years and are making such good progress. We are thankful to be able to work with such dedicated teachers to help with the training of the dear children.
Visit to “Lestari Sayang Anak” Orphanage
Pierre and Mary along with several American Woman’s Club members and their family were able to have a “color filled” morning with the children at Lestari Sayang Anak orphanage in Jakarta. Thanks to sponsors who donated special Crayola crayons, a special crayon box and fun activity pages, we had lots of fun too.
Visit to Timor Leste
Family Care Indonesia volunteer Esther visited Timor Leste together with friends to survey for a project in the near future. We prepared basic food packages, school books, blankets and snacks received from friends in Jakarta and Surabaya to be distributed on the border of Timor Leste during our trip.
Trip to Surabaya
Albert and Monica visited Surabaya, East Java and went to many schools to deliver Library books. They also visited orphanages to deliver Education Supplies and to encourage the children who sometimes suffer bullying in their lives because of their humble back grounds.
Activities for Idul Fitri
Family Care Indonesia volunteers visited a school on Sembilangan Island in Marunda to celebrate Idul Fitri together with 100 children. We wanted to thank all those who participated to make this visit a success.
