Villages in Central Java

There has been very little rain and the village is quite poor. Family Care Indonesia, via help from sponsors, provided a basic food package (a package consisting of 9 staple items such as cooking oil, rice, soap, etc.) for each of the 30 families.

When buying the food packets the storekeeper was touched and voluntarily donated 5 large sacks of snack food!

We also distributed clothing and spent time talking and counseling with some of the village people. Gary also distributed 250 booklets (5 different titles) of practical and spiritual advice.
